Auxiliary to Cowichan District Hospital. Is a group of dedicated women and men who are committed to providing care and comfort for the patients at the. We have been volunteering to provide services and buy much needed equipment to support the patients and residents since 1932. Was opened and continues today to support both the. Some of our 180 members are second generation in this service. We always welcome new members to help us continue our good work.

Auxiliary Volunteers work directly with patients as ambassadors for the hospital. Volunteering presents exciting new learning opportunities and enriching experiences. Since the opening of our new hospital in August 2008, the Auxiliary Gift Shop has a prominent location in the main lobby. The shop is stocked with an exceptional selection of merchandise.
